“You’ve been talking about this amazing app that will let us create and manage home design and home improvement projects. You’ve been teasing us with a promise of easy, shareable, social home decorating. So … where’s the APP?”

It’s coming. Application development is a complex project. If you’ve ever worked on a complex project – from renovating a bathroom to building a house, from developing a new product from the ground up with a small team to fine-tuning enterprise-level software for a Fortune 10 – you know how things you never expected, in spite of your most careful planning and your most rigorous testing, just come flying in from left field, or fall on your head from the sky.

Which things present all kinds of great learning opportunities – really! – and actually, by presenting you with an un-planned-for “what?” event, make what you’re building better, stronger, more useful.

We’re in the last weeks of application development, where those “what?” events start cropping up like a crazy round of Whack A Mole. We’ve got our hammers, and that mole is toast. When we launch One Home 1.0, we know it must deliver on our promises. Or you won’t use it.

And we very much want  you to use it.

So keep sending us suggestions for the terrific local stores in your area that offer great home design and home improvement options. Don’t forget to let us know about shops that have stellar art, outstanding rugs, amazing kitchen items, perfect accent pieces for any room. Let us know about artisans who might like to add their work to our platform.
